Nothing makes me feel so fulfilled and in tune with Mother Earth as harvesting and eating fresh seasonal wild food!
I put on a big pot of my own harvested Chaga to simmer, went out with bare feet in the morning dew and as everything around me was slowly waking up I picked some nettles, ground elder, wild strawberries, red currants, sorrel and rose petals. Oh, this time of the year is so beautiful with it's abundance of wild foods just outside our door.
I put it all in the blender along with a banana, a slice of lemon, ginger juice, some frozen blueberries from last years harvest, a spoonful of honey and water.
